Bell Gully continue to provide us with one of their lawyers to assist with our legal clinic on a Monday. We are very thankful for this as it enables one of our lawyers to hold morning and afternoon clinics on the North Shore. The feedback we receive from the Bell Gully lawyers is always positive as this provides them with the opportunity to deal with clients at a grass roots level. The varied problems, not always legal, give the lawyers an insight into pragmatic lawyering. Bell Gully has also provided other pro-bono support to the law centre, including offering staff development for our junior lawyers. They are always willing to provide the legal expertise and resources to other areas of our operations, and to our clients.
Bronwen is a solicitor in Bell Gully's employment law team. She studied law and psychology at Auckland University and Utrecht University.
